About
French Tradition, Family Passion
KK Sweets was founded in 2020 by Kelsey Krieg, a Culinary Institute of America–trained pastry chef, right in her hometown of Hamilton, New Jersey.
What started small, baking and selling from her front steps, quickly grew into something more.
Kelsey built KK Sweets from the ground up, putting in the kind of long hours and consistency that most people never see. Every recipe, every design, and every detail has been shaped by her hands and her standards.
After training under French pastry chefs at the CIA, she brought those techniques back home and made them her own, combining classic pastry methods with a more modern, custom approach.
Today, KK Sweets is known for French macarons, custom cakes, and handcrafted pastries, all made from scratch in-house. Her work blends technical precision with creativity, from signature items like her house-made croissants and original creations like the Cinnissant, to fully custom cakes designed in her own style.
She also takes pride in offering gluten-free and other allergen-friendly options, following careful preparation practices to ensure they are both safe and genuinely enjoyable, without sacrificing flavor or quality.
More than anything, this business has always been about the people it serves. The birthdays, the weddings, the small celebrations, and the everyday moments that still deserve something special.
KK Sweets has grown, but the heart behind it has stayed the same. It is built on care, consistency, and a genuine love for what she does.
